The present novel “The Power of the Glory” was first published in 1940. The title of the novel is particularly notable, for it happens to be an allusion to the doxology that is often recited at the end of the Lord’s Prayer: “For Thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever and ever, amen.”
When the book was first published in the United States of America, its title was “The Labyrinthine Ways.”
