“Brave New World” by Aldous Huxley was first published in the year 1932. The story of the novel is set in remote future, in AD 2540, in London.

The novel is based on various expectations in several fields of human society. The story anticipates in reproductive technology, psychological manipulation, sleep-learning, and conditioning etc. which come together to radically transform society.

After the publication of this book, Huxley gave answers to the points presented in this by writing an essay titled “Brave New World Revisited” which was published in the year 1958. He also answered some questions in his last novel “Island.”

“Brave New World” was included in the list of the 100 best English language novels of the 20th century by the Modern Library, in the year 1999.
