This article is about the political reasons why conventional science is still finding it so difficult to accept the Aquatic Ape Theory. Although resistance to it by some male scientists is to do with sexism, the main opposition comes from the people who fund science and believe in Social Darwinism or Objectivism. It is these people who are using the theory of evolution to justify uncontrolled capitalism. Because of this, they do not like the Aquatic Ape Theory as it doesn't support the selfishness and greed that they recommend.
