Racial, ethnic, and denominational divisions are a challenge in many places in the world today, including America. One of the most important things for us to realize is that the devil has always used division in an attempt to stop the move of God. Wherever he can find a difference, he tries to magnify it, create suspicion and distrust, and then stir up strife by insinuating remarks or ignoring one another, where barriers are built and hatred begins to foster. It’s not just a black and white issue.
The good news is, when Jesus Christ comes into our lives, He makes a difference. He opens the eyes of our understanding to see the way He sees. Obviously, God loves the rainbow and He loves variety because of all of the nationalities of people He created. He puts us together as a mosaic, a tapestry, a puzzle. The beauty and glory are awesome when all the pieces come together in unity and harmony.
