From beginning of the book to the last few pages, this had me hooked. The characters are flush out perfectly, Brian Vaughn's writing is witty and full of charm. This has been a gem for me to find as I have been out the comic book game for awhile now. This was recommended to me by fans of Neil Gaiman's, and if you enjoy great writing and amazing artwork, give Saga a serious look.

Amazing! Thrilling! Original! A spectacular vision of fatherhood. I am utterly astounded with the depth of character, the enthralling story and the gorgeous artistry. A true work of art. Compelling, the next Star Wars...

Saga caught my attention for its art, done by the incredible Fiona Staples. After flipping around through it and reading the first few pages, I was already hooked. I actually put off reading Saga for a good two years, but I’m really glad I stopped ignoring it. I purchased all three volumes, and then went to my local comic book store for the following issues. It’s pretty graphic however, adult content and such, but if you like Game of Thrones/ASoIaF or Star Wars, then this is definitely for you.

The story is very mature and so is the graphical content. Its easy to pick up and easier to get in to. If you like game of thrones, magic and space, this is a must read.
