Description

"Best book I've read in a LONG time!" - Adam Croft, bestselling author of "Her Last Tomorrow."

A shocking murder. A web of deceit. A twist even Hitchcock wouldn't see coming.

It starts with a phone call – Sondra Ellis’ beautiful baby sister, Tracy, has disappeared during a jog along Chicago’s snowy lakefront. She’s even more devastated when Tracy’s mangled body is found days later, the victim of a mugging gone wrong.

A year later, Sondra continues to struggle with Tracy’s death. Her trauma deepens when she discovers a series of odd and unsettling cracks in her sister’s seemingly perfect life: puzzling messages, inexplicable meetings, and secrets and lies at every turn.

As Sondra continues to dig into the mystery of what happened to her sister, she has no idea she’s on her own collision course with life and death.

For fans of Patricia Highsmith, Mary Higgins Clark, and Alfred Hitchcock, Killing Me Softly is a page-turning psychological thriller that will keep you up long past your bedtime.

You can tell a great story without the foul language… ruins
  • Good Story; Too Much Emphasis on Race

The story itself is wonderful. Page turner! But the back and forth between past happenings and current happenings is annoying. Could’ve all been done in chronological order for easier reading. Author places a LOT of emphasis on the skin color of the characters, which was also annoying and unnecessary. I won’t be reading anything else from this author.

Not the best book I ever read. Kept switching between characters and moving back and forth from past to present.

All the time that Bianca put into giving so much detail doesn’t go unnoticed. The book was so well written I felt like I was watching a movie in my head Nd the words on the page were just subtitles.

I really felt like this book was well drawn out. It was quick paced enough to get to the point but still enough detail to paint a good picture. I did not see it coming and loved that it kept me guessing. Looking at her other books to see what else she has!
