Description

Now available in a single volume, E L James’s New York Times #1 bestselling trilogy has been hailed by Entertainment Weekly as being “in a class by itself.” Beginning with the GoodReads Choice Award Romance Finalist Fifty Shades of Grey, the Fifty Shades Trilogy will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever.

This bundle includes the following novels:

FIFTY SHADES OF GREY: When college student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating.  The unworldly Ana realizes she wants this man, and Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms. When the couple embarks on a daring, passionately physical affair, Ana discovers Christian’s secrets and explores her own desires.

FIFTY SHADES DARKER: Daunted by Christian’s dark secrets and singular tastes, Ana has broken off their relationship to start a new career. But desire for Christian still dominates her every waking thought. They rekindle their searing sensual affair, and while Christian wrestles with his inner demons, Ana is forced to make the most important decision of her life.

FIFTY SHADES FREED: Now, Ana and Christian have it all—love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of possibilities for their future. But Ana knows that loving her Fifty Shades will not be easy, and that being together will pose challenges that neither of them would anticipate. Just when it seems that their strength together will eclipse any obstacle, misfortune, malice, and fate conspire to turn Ana’s deepest fears into reality.

This book is intended for mature audiences.

There was so much more to this book than I expected, so much more than people said. A great read! But not just for the obvious reasons.

I’ve read all three books and seen all three movies. I prefer the books only because movies can’t explain thoughts and books have more details. Although I will give that visually takes less time than pages and is better graphically - the helicopter down and the angst of the family in book two, the car scene in book three is better live. Book one is a tad draggy, and I did worry Christian crosses the stalker line but it’s setting up the plot for the trilogy. That is normal in series writing. If it weren’t for books two and three you would wonder if the attempt to make Ana a submissive was just a mistake. Christian comes alive in books two and three. He surprises himself. His whole life is patterned and Ana totally upsets that mold. Christian is not what he thinks he is. Ana, shy, blushes is very sure of herself. She is drawn in, but she’s drawn in because she enjoys it - well certain aspects. There is nothing wrong with a diverse sex life. I liked the book of three better than the movie because the movie totally ignored Ray’s accident and the relationship between Ana, her dad and Christian. The closeness Christian has with his parents as they put all the pieces together is lovely and shows a loving, caring family there for each other. Are these the best erotica books on the market - no. But to me they were true to developing Christian into a carrying, sharing, loving individual. It allowed Ana to grow as a person, stick to the values and beliefs and allowed her discovery that she isn’t a vanilla sex person and that doesn’t make her bad. A book is good to me when there is a happy ending. This isn’t a book about sex in 140 different positions. It is about two people that are complete and whole because of what the other brings to the table. Why would we not want to know that they can be kind and loving parents? These books make me laugh and cry and smile. Making me glad I read them
