Description

Kira Dawson has the power to burn vampires to a crisp. The problem is, she doesn't know it yet. The even bigger problem is, she's dating one.

When Kira Dawson moves to South Carolina, she meets Luke, a blond goofball who quickly becomes her best friend, and Tristan, a mysterious bad boy who sends shivers down her spine. Kira knows they're keeping secrets, but when she discovers Tristan's lust for blood and her own dormant mystical powers, Kira is forced to fight for her life and make the heartbreaking decision between the familiar comfort of friendship and the fiery passion of love.

From bestselling author Kaitlyn Davis comes a paranormal romance perfect for fans of Twilight, The Vampire Diaries, and Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Ignite is the first book in the Midnight Fire Series and it is approximately 65,000 words.

I am 16, and my expectations in books are increasingly high. THIS BOOK EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS! I love the romance, the action, the dialogue, everything! It’s an incredible story, and I can’t wait to read more. My friend let me borrow her paperback copy of this novel, and I was ecstatic that I didn’t have to spend 15 dollars to buy it. Kara, Luke and Tristan have such a great dynamic throughout the book, and it reminded me of Bella, Edward and Jacob in Twilight. I was overall extremely satisfied with this book.

Recommend: Yes I enjoy books about the supernatural and romance mixed in. This is a great book with both of those things. I was engrossed in this book until the end.

This was a great book! I loved all the suspense and mystery as she went along and figured things out on her own.

A new school, new friends & most unexpected, a new life. Throws a new element into an old struggle. Ingenious take on life balance. Relatable characters. A book you want to read in one sitting, as it’s tough to put down

Even though I’ve only read the sample so far, it is by far the best book I have ever read. The action in the prologue is already an invigorating starter and the way Luke just jumps in and Tristian is the most dreamiest guy, I believe.

If a book is going to be that long it should at least have an absolute conclusion even though leading to another book you should still have an absolute conclusion. However, I did enjoy the book. I kept getting fed up and going to another book but I kept coming back I suppose that should make you happy anyway I don’t know. Yours truly, Mark Shyrock
