This book held my interest and was an easy read. The sequel to this was a tad better although I didn’t love the ending.

This was the first book of Barclay's that I read and I really enjoyed it. Since this book I've gone on to read seven more of his books. I really enjoy his writing and all the characters he is able to develop. I'm very glad I discovered his books.

...gave it 3 stars because of the continuous and repeated grammatical errors it contained: my mother, she...the car, it..... It got so that I, I couldn't enjoy the book and I started highlighting every time I ran across one of these! It was said about Ronald Reagan, ask him for the time, he'll tell you how the watch was made. This guy, he does the same thing!😀 Also

Before buying this one, I had just read a really crappy book, and needed to believe in a good story told by a good writer again. Seeing the title, I knew this book would be worth reading. But through all the twists and u turns, all the questions and deceit, it never failed to captivate me. I read it all in one day, ignoring my chores and business - it was that good. I won't spoil a thing by specifying an event or anecdote, you'll find them all yourselves. Wonderfully written, and full of OMG moments, this is a must read!

I really liked this book, actually could not put it down. Maybe there are a couple predictable moments, but the whole story is interesting, mysterious and even funny sometimes. I recommend this book as easy reading - and I am getting another Linwood Barclay book :) Enjoy!

Very predictable ... like a lifetime movie... Disappointing given his other books, like The Accident, were excellent.
