Description

The only authorized, authentic book about the Hell's Angels by founding member, Sonny Barger

Hell's Angel chronicles the origins and rise of the Hell’s Angels Motorcycle Club through the eyes of its founding member. Sonny Barger started the Oakland chapter of the Hell’s Angels in the late 50s with a loose-knit group of high school dropouts and social outcasts. Bonded by the love of motorcycles, they formed a cadre of hard-driving hombres and answered the call of the open road.

Hell's Angel is not only a story of motorcycles, it is a tale of loyalty and betrayal, subcultures and brotherhood and freedom. It is Sonny’s fight for personal freedom and his right to exist with a band of individuals who choose an alternative life.

This is a great book to show people exactly as it is but there is always things left out.. I lived the wife life of a active hells angel .. the life for a wife is not always glory and happiness the life can destroy a family.. living second to the club is absolutely not glamorous by any means but the book is very well written and I would recommend anyone to read it...

really gives you a different perspective of MC's. I've always had a ton of interest in learning about them and this book gives you a good look at the inside of one of the most well known. I read this in a day, I didn't wanna put it down.

This book was a great read, filled with humor, tragedy, action, and a little more humor! Tons of respect for sonny, a true American and a hero, and of course to all of the HA!

I loved reading this book. As a young boy in the 80's I heard many stories about the Hells Angels. When my 1st grade teacher asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up,my reply was "I want to be a Hells Angel." I am glad to have read the same stories I heard a a kid, written by my hero.

Tis book was very interesting. Especially how the government just seemed to have it out for Sonny and the Hells Angels. It is just making how they rush to prosecute without the facts......then and now! A quick read but still worth the 2 hrs.

Very well-written, hilarious, and thoroughly entertaining. Unfortunately, the copy-write information in the back says "no images available in electronic version." I wish I'd known that; wish I'd read the reviews. Definitely a good read, but I'd buy a paper copy to see the photos.

I read the whole book in one sitting. I enjoyed it very much. There are no images in this ebook. If I knew this before hand I would of not purchased this book. The content is excellent but there are formatting errors throughout. I will not purchase another Harper Collins ebook until they produce a complete and properly formatted product.
