Short and seemed unfinished. Lots of grammatical errors and doesn’t seem like it was professionally edited.

A very clever and quick read! It’s great to revisit the gang. I loved the journal entries and how they’re Damien in the first person perspective. As always, Damien and Nikki light up the pages!

A great continuation of the Damian & Nikki Statk saga. This reads as both a story, interview, and journal entries getting into the mind and lives of the Starks and their closest friends and family. I’m curious to see where the interviewer lands in the upcoming Stark world books. I can’t wait for Ashton’s story. 4.5/5 Stars
  • Interesting perspective!

This wasn’t your typical Damien and Nikki Stark book. It’s not even a typical short story. It’s a combination of Damien’s “journal” and an interview with Damien and his family and close friends. But, it takes a turn when the interviewer is someone from his past. It shows how in tune Damien and Nikki continue to be. It was an interesting read, especially since it’s mainly from Damien’s perspective on events from their lives. I’m sure there’s more to come, but from who’s story will it be told?
  • Interesting Take on Including Hero’s POV

f you haven’t read the Stark Saga, STOP, go read those and come back. Nikki and Damien’s story has primarily been told from Nikki’s POV, and the readers didn’t get Damien’s POV until much later in the series. Instead of rewriting the original books of the series from Damien’s POV only, like has been done in the past, the author has done something I haven’t seen and really enjoyed. Between chapters during present time, an interview of Damien along with Nikki and their family, letters and journal entries from Damien’s POV are included. There are two things that kept this from being 5 stars. First the repetitive language and banter between Damien and Nikki. It’s a comment I’ve made in previous review that I feel like I’m rereading the same conversations over and over within each and the series in total. Second, this story is suppose to essentially be the end of the Stark Saga, which in my opinion is time, but there is this big ole door open that will probably play out in one of the spin-off series, but it left the book feeling unfinished.
