It was a chore to finish this book. The writing was so childish like a 13 year old was writing it. The male and female POV sounded totally similar. No character development. Very sloppy job.

I loved meeting Kent and Tabby, and all the people in this cute little town. It’s a place we all wish we grew up in. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

It was cutesy. A little disjointed, but cute. I felt like something was missing, but don’t know what. I wasn’t excited over the location, but the main characters were good.

On vacation sitting on the beach..I decided to pull up a book to read and I’m so happy I came across this book. It was simply amazing, I laughed, cried and felt like I was apart of the MOORE clan. Can’t wait to start the next book in the series.

First time reading this author. The story was great, the characters wonderful. BUT....... the”F” word seemed over used to me, and the sex scenes were more graphic than was called for. Less is more in most cases. Sex doesn’t need the dirty words to be good. If this is typical of this author, I won’t be going back for more.

By far, this is my favorite rom-com/contemporary romance book by this author. Also, I should state that pretty much immediately after finishing Chronicles of a Hot Mess, where we first meet Kent, I asked the author if Kent was getting his own book because I really need that in my life. While I had to wait almost two years for Kent's story it was well worth it. The book walks the fine line of being in an insta-love book, but it never crosses it. Kent is a cinnamon roll hero; he's an all around genuinely nice guy who just happens to be a total stud and plays pro-ball, and he just wants to help Tabitha, which opens the door to them getting to know each other. They are opposites, and neither are each other types, but you already know what they say about opposites. In true Moore family fashion, Tabitha is automatically welcomed into their fold. The story is organic, it's relate-able, it's realistic. The town where Kent lives (along with his family) is a character in the book in it's own right, and you'll definitely want to visit this fictitious town. The author has built (and is probably still building) a world with lots of secondary and tertiary characters who could have the potential to be main characters in a future book. If you read Chronicles of a Hot Mess, don't worry, Lyla, Amery, Nate, Ward, and of course Gran Mill all make multiple appearances that will have you laughing out loud.
