A move to North Carolina has allowed Mika and Royce to finally settle down and let go of some of their worries. Royce is well on his way to finishing school and getting his legit business off the ground, while Mika happily prepares for their baby and take care of Sasha and the girls, but soon, the pressure to take care of herself and ensure everyone else is fine takes hold and it’s time to enlist help, but Royce is reluctant.
As they mull over their options, a series of troubling phone calls leave Mika wondering if their past troubles may have come back to haunt them. At the same time, she reconnects with a family member, who has struggles of her own.
When they decide to reunite to help each other with their current problems, others warn that they may be in over their heads. Could a generous offer turn out to be the worst decision they’ve ever made?
