OMG what a disappointment I read for enjoyment and generally receive it when I read James Patterson’s books - this had such a horrific ending, it left me wondering why did I waste my time with this book. I’m not an author but I can think of several better endings. On a scale of 1-10 I’d say this is a minus (-10) ten

I read for enjoyment, not for stress! 50 50 is a huge disappointment! Do not recommend to anyone! I feel like I wasted my time with an attempt to set up a next book!

The authors are thieves! The book meanders through boring chapter after boring chapter before killing the reader with a horrible ending and crushing stop. Don’t read it. Just don’t!

I started reading James Patterson books in the 80’s. I have always loved his books couldn’t wait for the next one to come out. I was disappointed when he started doing Bookshots and then teaming up with authors that did not follow his style, but I continued to give him another chance. This was very well written and I couldn’t put it down but the ending was not desirable and I don’t like being left hanging. It’s a cheap shot making sure you buy the next book. I thought janes Patterson was above this but it seems that churning out books is all that matters now. Everything seems to fall in a place and then at the last minute it doesn’t, leaving the reader feeling incomplete and sad. The whole point of the story is turned upside down. His endings used to be complete making you feel accomplished when done. I don’t have time for this, time for this reader to find another author.
