Description

The devil is in the detail

When true-crime writer Alexandria Weston is found murdered on the last stop of her book tour for The Devil Wakes, a story about the life and death of serial killer Elias Pratt, fellow writer Joss Jax steps in to investigate.

Joss's search reveals disturbing details from Alexandria's past, and a long list of enemies, each with a secret to hide. Just when Joss believes she's solved the mystery, an unexpected twist rises to the surface, a twist so deadly it unearths Elias Pratt from the grave and changes the lives of those who knew him forever.

If you enjoy books by Dean Koontz and Robert Dugoni, you'll enjoy reading Cheryl Bradshaw.

"The ending was a surprise."

creative, intriguing story. The characters are disgusting and unlovable. Unrealistic and criminal tricks invading people’s privacy, home, life. Throw away book and don’t want read from this author.

I loved the book, but I’m a stickler for errors and there were a few that snagged into my mind and made it less enjoyable. The book and plot were well thought out and written.

Great story, as were all the other books I have read from Bradshaw. The characters are believable, story line plausible and the details seemingly well researched. I would love to see more books featuring Joss, and maybe even Alexa.

Very good. I love the way you write...you keep us on our toes. I love to read books that I can not figure all the ends and outs. Thank you.

The story held my interest but I don't particularly care for books that go back and forth in time. I don't want to have to remember dates and years, plus it's harder to look back on an e-reader than a paper book. But, again, I did like the story.
