During the summer of 2015, a group of Oregon State student athletes and ambassadors; the Beavers Without Borders BWOB, visited the Dominican Republic. They captured and chronicled their journey and their rich learning experiences with photos, videos, written text and audio recordings. This past fall, students, teachers and advisors collaborated in a hybrid IST 337 Digital Storytelling class to plan, design, and publish this narrative. Students worked together in a combination of workshop classes and distance ed opportunities to pool their curated media, talents, skills and specialties. They negotiated content, style and design selections, as well as engaged in peer review and assessment exchanges. This publication is the result of that endeavor.
